Apple box mod Vape Meet in Iceland: the budget shortlist
Apple in Iceland: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Choosing a box mod for apple
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Apple in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested apple in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Iceland.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where apple goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long apple in Iceland survives.
- Treating the advertised ISK38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK2.5 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
