Coil life, liquid cost and the apple habit

If you are looking at apple in Iceland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple pen device really costs in Iceland
We run apple the same way in Iceland: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested apple in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ISK66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK2.28 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for apple in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Iceland need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.28 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Is apple legal to sell in Iceland?
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.
