Blackcurrant vape pen Vape Meet in Iceland: the cheap shortlist
Blackcurrant in Iceland: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the blackcurrant habit
Blackcurrant in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.21 per 10 ml.
The short version: blackcurrant in Iceland works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant vape pen really costs in Iceland
Blackcurrant in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested blackcurrant in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Iceland.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.21 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order Vape Meet online in Iceland?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–8 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
