How we tested Candy squonk mod here
A candy squonk mod from the flat-rate options in Iceland costs about ISK3.25 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run candy the same way in Iceland: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy squonk mod really costs in Iceland
The honest read on candy: 17 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Iceland.
Where candy goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long candy in Iceland survives.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.

Frequently asked questions
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does candy in a squonk mod last?
In Iceland we measured 4 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
