Caramel pen device Vape Meet in Iceland: the cheap shortlist
Caramel in Iceland: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Choosing a pen device for caramel
Caramel in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.27 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel pen device really costs in Iceland
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.27 per 10 ml.
How we tested caramel in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Iceland.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for caramel in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
