Coil life, liquid cost and the cherry habit
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK3.31 per 10 ml.
We run cherry the same way in Iceland: same nicotine salt bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, nicotine salt bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry nicotine salt bottle really costs in Iceland
A cherry nicotine salt bottle from the cheapest options in Iceland costs about ISK3.31 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested cherry in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Iceland.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should cherry start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
Is cherry legal to sell in Iceland?
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.
