The short version: citrus in Iceland works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus box mod really costs in Iceland
The honest read on citrus: 11 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ISK67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK2.98 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Iceland survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for citrus in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.98 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK67 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
