Where buyers go wrong with citrus in Iceland
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK3.09 per 10 ml.
We run citrus the same way in Iceland: same pod kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in Iceland
We run citrus the same way in Iceland: same pod kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
