Citrus starter kit Vape Meet in Iceland: the flat shortlist
Citrus in Iceland: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Choosing a starter kit for citrus
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.74 per 10 ml.
Citrus in Iceland reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus starter kit really costs in Iceland
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.74 per 10 ml.
How we tested citrus in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Iceland.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
How long does citrus in a starter kit last?
In Iceland we measured 7 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
