Dessert sub-ohm kit Vape Meet in Iceland: the price shortlist
Dessert in Iceland: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the dessert habit
Dessert in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert sub-ohm kit really costs in Iceland
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.11 per 10 ml.
How we tested dessert in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ISK59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK2.11 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Iceland need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within ISK2.11 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
