The short version: grapey in Iceland works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey starter kit really costs in Iceland
Grapey in Iceland reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested grapey in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Iceland.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.
Wholesale lines to Iceland need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.61 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Do you ship tracked orders to Iceland?
Yes, tracked to 4–8 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
