Guava pod kit Vape Meet in Iceland: the budget shortlist
Guava in Iceland: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
How we tested Guava pod kit here
We run guava the same way in Iceland: same pod kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Guava in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: guava in Iceland works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava pod kit really costs in Iceland
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.61 per 10 ml.
How we tested guava in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where guava goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ISK42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK2.61 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Guava | Decides coil choice more than strength does |

| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Iceland |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Iceland | 4–8 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | ISK42 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ISK2.61 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
How long does guava in a pod kit last?
In Iceland we measured 3 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
