What a honey cartomizer really costs in Iceland
Honey in Iceland reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested honey in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every honey bottle shipped into Iceland.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where honey goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised ISK31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK3.53 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for honey in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK3.53 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
