Honey vape pen Vape Meet in Iceland: the review shortlist
Honey in Iceland: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
What honey costs in Iceland
If you are looking at honey in Iceland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Honey sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long honey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a honey vape pen really costs in Iceland
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK1.61 per 10 ml.
How we tested honey in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where honey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long honey in Iceland survives.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.
Wholesale lines to Iceland need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK1.61 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should honey start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
Why does honey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the honey blend itself harsh.
