Licorice sub-ohm kit Vape Meet in Iceland: the order shortlist
Licorice in Iceland: 23 units tested over 4 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Ordering Vape Meet to Iceland: the practical version
A licorice sub-ohm kit from the pre-order options in Iceland costs about ISK3.28 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK3.28 per 10 ml.
The short version: licorice in Iceland works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice sub-ohm kit really costs in Iceland
Licorice in Iceland reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested licorice in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.

Frequently asked questions
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within ISK3.28 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
