Licorice vape pen Vape Meet in Iceland: the review shortlist
Licorice in Iceland: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Choosing a vape pen for licorice
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Licorice in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a licorice vape pen really costs in Iceland
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.22 per 10 ml.
How we tested licorice in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised ISK32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK2.22 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for licorice in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | ISK32 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ISK2.22 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within ISK2.22 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
