Coil life, liquid cost and the lime habit
Lime in Iceland reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on lime: 12 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested lime in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
Where lime goes wrong
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
