Melon cartomizer Vape Meet in Iceland: the cheap shortlist
Melon in Iceland: 15 units tested over 6 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Choosing a cartomizer for melon
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.44 per 10 ml.
A melon cartomizer from the cheapest options in Iceland costs about ISK2.44 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested melon in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
Where melon goes wrong
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should melon start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On melon the budget price and the premium price can sit within ISK2.44 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
