Melon RDA Vape Meet in Iceland: the compare shortlist
Melon in Iceland: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the melon habit
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK1.95 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at melon in Iceland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon RDA really costs in Iceland
If you are looking at melon in Iceland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested melon in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where melon goes wrong
- Treating the advertised ISK29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK1.95 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
