Where buyers go wrong with mint in Iceland
The honest read on mint: 17 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.82 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the nicotine salt bottle you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested mint in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Iceland.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Iceland survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.82 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK57 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does mint in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Iceland we measured 8 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
