Pear in Iceland: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
What pear costs in Iceland
We run pear the same way in Iceland: same 60 ml bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Pear 60 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: pear in Iceland works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

How we tested pear in a 60 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Iceland.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.95 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK29 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
