Pear box mod Vape Meet in Iceland: the review shortlist
Pear in Iceland: 19 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Delivery, returns and what 4–8 business days really means
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK1.7 per 10 ml.
We run pear the same way in Iceland: same box mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: pear in Iceland works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear box mod really costs in Iceland
Ordering into Iceland usually means waiting 4–8 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested pear in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Iceland.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long pear in Iceland survives.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK1.7 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
