Pear RDA Vape Meet in Iceland: the compare shortlist
Pear in Iceland: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
How we tested Pear RDA here
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.6 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at pear in Iceland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear RDA really costs in Iceland
The honest read on pear: 21 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Iceland.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised ISK40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK2.6 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.6 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK40 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
How long does pear in a RDA last?
In Iceland we measured 5 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
