Plain box mod Vape Meet in Iceland: the wholesale shortlist
Plain in Iceland: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Plain in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK3.16 per 10 ml.
The short version: plain in Iceland works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain box mod really costs in Iceland
If you are looking at plain in Iceland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plain in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Iceland.
Where plain goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
