Plain disposable vape Vape Meet in Iceland: the deals shortlist
Plain in Iceland: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
The honest read on plain: 10 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Plain disposable vape reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: plain in Iceland works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain disposable vape really costs in Iceland
Plain in a disposable vape is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a disposable vape
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the disposable vape, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest disposable vape available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a disposable vape.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within ISK3.46 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the disposable vape units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
