Plain squonk mod Vape Meet in Iceland: the flat shortlist
Plain in Iceland: 13 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at plain in Iceland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on plain: 13 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain squonk mod really costs in Iceland
The honest read on plain: 13 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Iceland.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plain in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.

Frequently asked questions
How long does plain in a squonk mod last?
In Iceland we measured 6 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
