Plain sub-ohm kit Vape Meet in Iceland: the flat shortlist
Plain in Iceland: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Ordering Vape Meet to Iceland: the practical version
We run plain the same way in Iceland: same sub-ohm kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.94 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain sub-ohm kit really costs in Iceland
Plain in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Iceland.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Plain | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | sub-ohm kit | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 11 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Iceland |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Iceland | 4–8 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | ISK62 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ISK2.94 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.94 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
How long does plain in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Iceland we measured 5 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
