Plum box mod Vape Meet in Iceland: the flat shortlist
Plum in Iceland: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
What plum costs in Iceland
We run plum the same way in Iceland: same box mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.86 per 10 ml.
The short version: plum in Iceland works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum box mod really costs in Iceland
We run plum the same way in Iceland: same box mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Iceland.
Where plum goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Iceland survives.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.
