If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum RDA really costs in Iceland
A plum RDA from the discounted options in Iceland costs about ISK2.6 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plum goes wrong
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised ISK29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK2.6 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.
Wholesale lines to Iceland need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How long does plum in a RDA last?
In Iceland we measured 8 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
