Plum vape pen Vape Meet in Iceland: the best shortlist
Plum in Iceland: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
If you are looking at plum in Iceland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK3.03 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum vape pen really costs in Iceland
We run plum the same way in Iceland: same vape pen, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plum in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plum goes wrong
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised ISK56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK3.03 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How long does plum in a vape pen last?
In Iceland we measured 3 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
