The short version: plum in Iceland works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum vape pen really costs in Iceland
The honest read on plum: 21 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Iceland.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Iceland need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK1.88 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within ISK1.88 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
How long does plum in a vape pen last?
In Iceland we measured 9 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
