Salted RDA Vape Meet in Iceland: the price shortlist
Salted in Iceland: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Choosing a RDA for salted
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.29 per 10 ml.
The honest read on salted: 10 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted RDA really costs in Iceland
Ordering into Iceland usually means waiting 4–8 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested salted in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Iceland.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised ISK42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run ISK2.29 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Iceland need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for salted in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
