Salted vape pen Vape Meet in Iceland: the budget shortlist
Salted in Iceland: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
The honest read on salted: 6 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A salted vape pen from the budget options in Iceland costs about ISK2.44 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: salted in Iceland works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted vape pen really costs in Iceland
There is no single best way to buy Vape Meet in Iceland. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested salted in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
How long does salted in a vape pen last?
In Iceland we measured 5 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
