Salted vape pen Vape Meet in Iceland: the guide shortlist
Salted in Iceland: 21 units tested over 4 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
Salted vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted vape pen really costs in Iceland
We run salted the same way in Iceland: same vape pen, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Iceland.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | ISK64 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ISK2.93 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.93 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does salted in a vape pen last?
In Iceland we measured 4 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
