Sour box mod Vape Meet in Iceland: the review shortlist
Sour in Iceland: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
Sour in Iceland reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A sour box mod from the reviewed options in Iceland costs about ISK3.13 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour box mod really costs in Iceland
We run sour the same way in Iceland: same box mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sour in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Iceland survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Sour | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | box mod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 7 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Iceland |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Iceland | 4–8 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | ISK37 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ISK3.13 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK3.13 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
