Sourcherry starter kit Vape Meet in Iceland: the review shortlist — Icelandvapemeet
Sourcherry in Iceland: 16 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
We run sourcherry the same way in Iceland: same starter kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK3.09 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sourcherry starter kit really costs in Iceland
The honest read on sourcherry: 16 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sourcherry in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sourcherry in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
