Spiced pen device Vape Meet in Iceland: the cheap shortlist
Spiced in Iceland: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the spiced habit
The honest read on spiced: 13 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run spiced the same way in Iceland: same pen device, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a spiced pen device really costs in Iceland
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested spiced in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Iceland.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How long does spiced in a pen device last?
In Iceland we measured 9 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should spiced start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
