Tobacco in Iceland: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tobacco habit
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK3.13 per 10 ml.
Tobacco pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco pod kit really costs in Iceland
Tobacco pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tobacco in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Iceland survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.
Packaging for tobacco in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does tobacco in a pod kit last?
In Iceland we measured 3 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Iceland?
Yes, tracked to 4–8 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
