Tropical cartomizer Vape Meet in Iceland: the order shortlist
Tropical in Iceland: 23 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.34 per 10 ml.
We run tropical the same way in Iceland: same cartomizer, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: tropical in Iceland works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical cartomizer really costs in Iceland
We run tropical the same way in Iceland: same cartomizer, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Iceland accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for tropical in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Iceland |

| Entry kit | ISK53 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ISK2.34 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.34 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
