The short version: tropical in Iceland works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical pod kit really costs in Iceland
Tropical in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tropical in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Iceland.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Iceland survives.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Iceland need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Entry kit | ISK64 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | ISK2.18 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does tropical in a pod kit last?
In Iceland we measured 8 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within ISK2.18 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
