Tropical squonk mod Vape Meet in Iceland: the best shortlist
Tropical in Iceland: 22 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
A tropical squonk mod from the best options in Iceland costs about ISK2.92 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tropical squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested tropical in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How long does tropical in a squonk mod last?
In Iceland we measured 7 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
