Tropical squonk mod Vape Meet in Iceland: the deals shortlist
Tropical in Iceland: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.38 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Iceland usually means waiting 4–8 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: tropical in Iceland works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical squonk mod really costs in Iceland
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.38 per 10 ml.
How we tested tropical in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Iceland.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for tropical in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is tropical legal to sell in Iceland?
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.
How long does tropical in a squonk mod last?
In Iceland we measured 8 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
