Tropical starter kit Vape Meet in Iceland: the best shortlist
Tropical in Iceland: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
What tropical costs in Iceland
Tropical in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on tropical: 10 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical starter kit really costs in Iceland
We run tropical the same way in Iceland: same starter kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Iceland.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.41 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
