Vanilla squonk mod Vape Meet in Iceland: the cheap shortlist
Vanilla in Iceland: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Coil life, liquid cost and the vanilla habit
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.43 per 10 ml.
Vanilla in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla squonk mod really costs in Iceland
If you are looking at vanilla in Iceland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested vanilla in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Iceland.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for vanilla in Iceland must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does vanilla in a squonk mod last?
In Iceland we measured 2 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
