Blackcurrant box mod Vape Meet in Iceland: the cheap shortlist
Blackcurrant in Iceland: 12 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Ordering Vape Meet to Iceland: the practical version
Blackcurrant in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Iceland the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A blackcurrant box mod from the cheapest options in Iceland costs about ISK3.6 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant box mod really costs in Iceland
The honest read on blackcurrant: 12 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested blackcurrant in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Iceland survives.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Iceland?
Yes, tracked to 4–8 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever Iceland allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
