Where buyers go wrong with lemon in Iceland
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.41 per 10 ml.
Most people searching Vape Meet in Iceland are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon cartomizer really costs in Iceland
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Iceland that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within ISK2.41 per 10 ml.
How we tested lemon in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Iceland sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Iceland: about ISK2.41 per 10 ml liquid plus ISK44 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lemon the budget price and the premium price can sit within ISK2.41 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
