Plum starter kit Vape Meet in Iceland: the budget shortlist
Plum in Iceland: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Iceland.
Choosing a starter kit for plum
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at plum in Iceland, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: plum in Iceland works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum starter kit really costs in Iceland
Ordering into Iceland usually means waiting 4–8 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plum in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Iceland, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Iceland, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Iceland, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plum goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Iceland stocks.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Iceland caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml and requires a nicotine licence to sell. Shipping of nicotine to Iceland runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Iceland?
Yes, tracked to 4–8 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within ISK2.78 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
